Talk about being hangry.

I thought I was making a simple dialogue choice. But The Blood of Dawnwalker had other plans.

Now, you better believe I'm being super careful when talking to folks during night in the game.

I share my full breakdown and final verdict in my longer review — if you are deciding whether Dawnwalker is worth your time, start there.

Sometimes, those intrusive thoughts make it from my head to my mouth.

We were reading our Fall selection for Trippz's Book Club, 1984 when the wheels started turning. You can literally see the wheels turning in my mind and then this spiel came out!

We're nearing the end of our reading and each week the tension mounts. This is my second read of 1984 and SO much stands out to me, but as a group people are wondering if there's something just around the bend for our guy, Winston.

Join us in the final weeks on Twitch. Sundays at 2pm ET: Twitch.tv/CapnTrippz

You'd think having a lot to do would be a good thing. 😅 But you only have 30 days to save your family and EVERY choice matters.

This is The Blood of the Dawnwalker by Rebel Wolves. Available where ever you play games.

Blade Runner meets Batman: Arkham Asylum? Replaced is THAT good.

Replaced is a 2.5D side-scrolling pixel action platformer with one of the craziest stories I've played this year. The visuals, the atmosphere and the combat kept me locked in from start to finish. If you love cinematic indie games, you need this on your radar.

I need more time in this world. Period.

Tap in with Trippz and the Outfit.

We game, talk stories, books and real life:
YouTube: // Shorts & long form content
Twitch: // Live during the week with gameplay and commentary and Sundays 2pm ET for Book Club vibes.

Hop in the comments! What are some games that you think are flying below the radar?

Some lessons you only learn in the Capital Wasteland.

I was out exploring, minding my own business...[or starting some mess...who knows] when a raider with a missile launcher wanted to get acquainted.

We're playing through more Fallout 3, one of my favorite RPGs, live on Twitch. Stop by if you want to hang out: Twitch.tv/CapnTrippz

Curious where you land: Are you holding out for the remaster, or have you already started a fresh run through the Capital Wasteland?

Let me know in the comments.

She just wanted a refill 😭

This hilarious moment came from our Parable of the Sower reading. You never know how the text is going to take us for a loop when you're watching a stream with Trippz's Book Club — one minute we're reading, and the next I'm singing.

Trippz's Book Club is currently reading 1984. So maybe we won't hit that Elle Varner, but you can be sure another tangent isn't too far away.

Catch more reading, reactions, and wild takes live with Trippz's Book Club on Twitch — Sundays at 2pm ET at Twitch.tv/CapnTrippz

I said what I said — The Notebook is ELITE ❤️

When you realize what's really happening in the end? Come on bruh. That's top-tier romantic movie storytelling.

I simply asked the chat a question and ended up having to defend my answer. But enough about that — What's YOUR favorite romantic movie? Drop it in the comments, I need a new watchlist 👇

Are you rocking with The Notebook or is there a better movie?

What's good, it's your boy CapnTrippz with an offbeat moment from a recent Twitch stream.

Responding to chat about romantic movies — and I'm standing on this: Love & Basketball is NOT a romance! I don't care how many athletes tell me they relate to it. lol

Do you agree or am I tripping? Would you have played yourself like that? Drop your worst romance movie pick in the comments.

This is one of those off-topic Twitch stream moments where chat gets me started. I stream story-mode game playthroughs, my book club and random moments like this on Twitch.

That moment in Yakuza when you walk in on something you definitely weren't supposed to see 😭

This NPC was feeling some kind of way apparently.

I played through Yakuza 0-5 and then came back for Like a Dragon. Have you played through the entire series? Do you recommend I go back for 6?

BROTHER, YOU JUST STUMBLED INTO THE MAIN EVENT.

Most of the time, we're playing amazing story games on stream. Some of the time, we're doing some reading or writing. But there's always an 100% chance that the most random thing — this time, some sunglasses — will send us on a tangent.

I've got the charisma of a heel turn, the cardio of a ladder match, and the verbal finisher of a man who's been alone with his thoughts for TOO long. When I speak, even the mic gets scared.

So do yourself a favor, BROTHER — hit that subscribe button and lock in, because this promo ain't over. The real show goes down LIVE on Twitch, where I run the mic, play the games and cut promos that sound like they came out of Starrcade.
