My sister in law assures me it's not too early to post stuff but for a total like me, these were a struggle. Jkjk 🤣 it was actually super fun deciding which words and phrases to use to create the design. The dark green repeats "merry" to create the pattern and texture of the tree, and the bright green repeats "joy to the world".

I've got another piece from the collection to show you! This is one of those where I wanted to see (and feel) the clear influence of nature to the point of not knowing where it ends and she begins. But at the same time still making her be so distinct from her environment. Shout-out to whose melodies inspired this one!

Wisteria has to be one of the most beautiful weeds right? It's just gorgeous and something I always associate with the arrival of summer. Not to mention it's darn fun to paint 🤣🤣

I'm so excited to share that my painting "Wisteria Overgrown" will be displayed at Small Works show starting October 17. I'd love to see you at the opening reception!

One of my favorite things to use to add texture to paintings? Bubble wrap! Also super cathartic when you pop them lol
