Owners Bio:
Jessica Danielle Pratt

grew up in the little town of Elkmont, AL. She had many talented people in her life but the one that really brought art to her attention was her grandmother Minnie Self. She grew up painting in her grandmothers ceramic shop crafting and creating. She was not always thrilled about having to paint in the dead of summer in a little ceramic shop on her grandparents farm in Kellys Creek, TN but grew to love and respect it more each year! Jessica found comfort in her painting and creativity. This was her way of relaxing and finding herself. After high school Jessica married her high school sweetheart. She continued her creativity but not like she wished she could. Then after being married for 2 years she had her first child and then 11& 1/2 months later she had her second one. It was then that she began to sew her children's clothes. She then decided to sew and craft for children. After a while of doing that, Jessica decided to go back to work. After having a career for a couple of years she then decided that she wanted to take her talents to another level. At the Broken Brush you will have many choices, whether it be canvas art, pottery, or wood art. The Broken Brush is also a studio where you can book parties, birthday parties, or any special event! The Broken Brush Studio reserves the right to change the artist, painting, postpone the class, or cancel a class for unforeseen circumstances. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled by our office so be sure to reserve your seat to avoid having your class cancelled. Customers will be notified 24 hours in advance and non-expiring studio credit will be provided.
