Save the date for our Cakes and Quilts event during Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention Weekend.

America has turned 250 years old, and what better way to honor our history than with the art of cake making and quilting?

The Cake Contest will be Oct. 3, and Scout House will be open for our "Patchwork Canvases" Quilt Show. The quilts will be on display through October.

🐨🎨 Our little artists got creative with koalas! They used crayons to add colorful details, then brushed watercolor right over the top to create a fun resist effect. The colors really popped! 🌈✨

Athens Arts League joins fans from around the world who are mourning the loss of America’s songstress, Dolly Parton.

In this interview, Dolly describes songwriting as her therapy and her guitar as her friend.

One of our supports, Athens State University, is having a Juried Faculty and Alumni Art Exhibit at the Alabama Center for the Arts in the Main Gallery.

The exhibition features 47 works by 25 faculty, staff, and alumni artists from Calhoun Community College and Athens State University. The exhibition will remain on display through Thursday, October 29. An artist reception will be held on Thursday, September 3, from 5:00–7:00 pm. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
