Since its founding, the Guild has worked to raise funds and awareness for projects that benefit local families, schools, and organizations The annual festival is sponsored by Atchison's Junior Guild with over 100 booths of handmade arts and crafts. Craftsmen from several states set up their artistic talents at the downtown Mall the first Saturday in October. With the aroma of German food from the
United Methodist Church booth filling the airs, among a number of other food booths, everyone should find a variety of choices to satisfy their appetite. Along side the 100-plus handmade craft booths, a vast array of volunteer musicians and other entertainers will perform throughout the day. One-and-all will have a great fall day in Atchison!
