Hiiii I wanna introduce yall to someone, Deb McKibben, my mothers best friend and someone who has grown like a second mother to me, has opened a business right here in atchison and I wanna answer some questions you guys might have about her and this wonderful new place, beyouthful med spa.
Debs bio - I started in healthcare 27 years ago working EMS in Kansas City, Missouri. I went onto nursing school got my bachelors of science in nursing from Baker University. I started my nursing career at a major level one trauma center in Kansas City in the emergency department worked there for six years, from there, I went onto a major level one trauma center in Omaha, Nebraska in the emergency department. I flew on a helicopter for three years in rural Nebraska. When I moved back to Kansas. I did travel ER nursing before going to grad school at UMKC. I completed my Dr of nursing practice, family nurse practitioner degree a little over a year ago. For the past year, I’ve been a nurse practitioner in a critical access ER. in the ER people want a quick fix with medication’s. I decided to open the med spa as a way for people to seek out more holistic treatments.
Deb will be offering a range of services, such as IV hydration, she has a menu of 8 different IV drips to offer, simply saline if youre just feeling a little sucked dry from all the crazy heat we’ve been having or if you’re like me and you suck at drinking water (great self care for the day before a tattoo!) , a migraine mix to assist in the pains you might be feeling from the pesky raging migraines and even a hangover mix for when you had just a little bit too much of a good time the night before.
She will also be offering cold plunge and sauna services for muscle recovery for athletes, runners, or if you just don’t wanna wake up sore the next day after a good workout! Both also assist in burning that hard to lose body fat! Also at beyouthful deb has a vibroacoustic table, if you don’t like the person to person contact of a massage or can’t quiet your brain long enough to meditate this is for you, does wonders with anxiety and stress. She will also be offering Botox and GLP1 consults and services.
