We are honored to announce our guest collaborative artist for My spirit sang all day, Dr. Brennan Szafron!

is the organist and choir master of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon, North Carolina, where he has served since 2021. At Holy Cross, he not only plays the organ but directs children’s and adult choirs, as well as a handbell ensemble. He is the Assistant Director of the Blue Ridge Ringers, an adjunct professor of organ at Converse University in Spartanburg and is frequently in demand as a collaborative artist with vocal and instrumental ensembles.

Brennan is a native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and holds three degrees in organ performance from the University of Alberta, Yale University, and the University of Michigan. He is thrilled and honored to have been asked to play the organ with a Blue Ridge Consort.
