The Mike Dillon Band Milt Jackson and Frank Zappa stumble into a Trouble Funk show that The Dead Kennedys opened. Mike Dillon plays vibraphone and rants into the microphone.

Combining styles and years of experience, MDB makes a noise that is unique in many ways. Dean Wean said, " The Mike Dillon Band is my favorite touring band on the planet' at the ween after show where all of Ween sans Gene, joined the stage with Mike.

Looking forward to the mountains with the Worlds most Original living master of the Fender Rhodes- Brian Roy Haas.. Of course that is my opinion and I say that because no one plays like him on the planet. He also doesn’t trying to emulate the masters that came before him.. He is also a Master survivalist who should have died in a flash flood last week when a river appeared in the small canyon he was hiking… This is the kind of guy you need on the road …. On drums this week we Have Kris Myers. I am friends with a lot of Drummers. World class drummers that normally appear on Stages such as Red Rocks get in the Mike D Van . Past Students of the Mike D school of punk rock include G Max who was in the van to Telluride along with Tiff .. Max got the call for Miranda Lambert and his next gig after telluride was the Smoothie King arena. Tiff played with me after her band broke up and now she is with Shania Twain.( I say that tongue in cheek .. can you still have humor in a social media post ? I joke that if you tour in my van you will get an arena rock gig) . Nikki still plays with us when her band is not touring. Claude hits with us when he can. Then there is Rory !!! My long time bro Earl Harvin is out with Tori Amos and they just played Red Rocks …. You can see the Earl and Mike Duo in a club in September. We will also be playing Old Friends in Arkansas …. I’m a grateful percussionist !!! Love my musician brothers and sisters!!! Over and out. Time for tabla and more Espresso .. espresso rant 2093
