We just received result
from CelebratingArt.com
nation wide contest and I am amazed with my students results. Our students presented continuous grow of their art skills and talent. Especially my deepest congratulation to Sasha Shakula who got on the list of top ten winners in United States.
In addition to this congratulations to all other our students who got published in Celebrating Art yearly book and got High Merit.

Many thanks to the parents of my students for their support in such a difficult time for a small business!
If they told me a month ago that I would teach art lessons online, I would not believe it, but reality dictates a different approach to learning at AlenasARTstudio.
Many students do not have any art materials at home, so while the studio is forcibly not working for reasons beyond my control, I try to work virtually, how long it can be difficult to answer and so far this is the only alternative I am able to offer to my students.

I created this because many do not have art materials at home.
Hi families! Here are some ideas for art materials that you might have at home and not even realize it!

>> If you do not have a paint brush, try using Qtips or cotton balls.

If you do not have paint, you can make some liquid watercolors by using:
>> Food dye + water
>> Powder makeup + water
>> Brew tea or coffee and use it to paint!

Another idea would be to paint using nail polish! It comes with a brush already in it and the colors are vibrant.

General information

Alena Fishman is the founder of Alena's art studio. Having graduated from the Kiev Arts College with an advanced diploma, Alena has always been a creative soul, gaining experience in various art forms and projects. In the start of her career she worked at the Ukrainian Fashion Development Center developing the latest trends where she designed styles that were featured in fashion magazines and shows. After her move to United States she explored her talents further in designing souvenir products and constructing beautiful flower arrangements. Alena use to work as a visual decorator with the nation’s largest retailer, maintaining and creating attractive displays and setting trends for each season. She is currently working as a full time art teacher. She founded Alena’s Art Studio in 2010 to teach children different art techniques and encourage them to develop and pursue their talents.
