A CPS social worker who walked into homes where love had stopped living.

She specialized in the hardest cases.

Mary didn’t flinch at yelling.
She didn’t soften for excuses.
She didn’t cry in front of anyone.

Because Mary grew up with addiction.
She learned early that the people you love most…
can become strangers overnight.

She spent her life trying to save families from the same fire that burned hers.

But the job changed her.

She started making calls that haunted her.
Decisions that ruined lives.
Decisions that looked “right on paper”…

…but didn’t feel right in her soul.

And one day—
she signed off on something she could not take back.

A child didn’t make it.

And Mary stayed alive with that weight inside her chest.

That’s when she was called to the compound.

Not as a victim.

As a weapon.

Ta**us didn’t judge her mistakes..

Helen had a gift:
She could sense what was missing in someone within minutes.

She didn’t just listen…
She entered you.

And at first, it felt like relief.
Like being finally understood.
Like being found.

But Helen didn’t want you healed. She wanted you to be held.

She kept files.

Not just notes.
Profiles.
Of what made you break.

And once she knew it…
she’d say something too true—
something she shouldn’t have been able to know…
Then she’d watch your eyes change.

People weren’t getting better and leaving…
they were getting better…
and staying with her.

Missing other appointments.
Dropping friends.
Cutting off family.
Protecting Helen like she was their only oxygen.

Then one patient finally escaped her…
and reported her.

They called her controlling.
Obsessive.
Predatory.

And Helen tasted public humiliation.

And for the first time in her life…
someone said “Stay.”

The scary part is…
she wanted to.

Until the night she tried to leave.

Not because she hated him…
but because she felt herself disappearing.

She reached the door—quietly.
Heart racing.

And Ta**us didn’t stop her.
He just said…

“You can go.”

Then softer:
“But don’t come back.”

And she froze.

That’s when Case 033387 died.
And Female Ta**us was born.

The compound didn’t trap her with locks.
It trapped her with belonging.

The price of being seen here…
was herself.

And she paid it.

with a feeling.

Like something had been watching her suffer…
and finally decided she belonged somewhere else.

quiet…
devoted…

Because Ta**us never asked what happened.
He looked at her like he already knew…
and that was the first time she truly felt seen.

Her ability to make struggling students feel safe.

But Mrs. Lateern had a habit.

She blurred the line between helping…
and holding on.

Staff started whispering.

They said she was “too attached.”
Too involved.
Too close.

Nothing was ever proven…
but the school didn’t want the risk.

So she was quietly removed.

And just like that… the one place that gave her purpose was gone.

That’s when she found the compound.

Or maybe…

the compound found her.

Ta**us didn’t ask questions.
He didn’t judge her past.
He didn’t fear her intensity.

He gave her something the world took away:
a place to be needed.
