Create Arlington

Create Arlington We are a unique coworking studio space supporting the ambitions of creators and entrepreneurs. Create Arlington is more than a coworking space.

It is a place where
entrepreneurs and artists can receive the support they need to be
successful. A grant will come and go. A scholarship will come and go. But a community that is committed to your dreams—and takes
practical, positive action—is life changing. We thrive in the right space. Create Arlington is that place for North Texas artists.

Start-Ups are exploding! Do you need a place to launch your biz? We can help. "Extrapolating recent business application totals forward, QuickBooks projects there will be 5.6 million business applications in 2022. That would represent a 28% increase over the record-setting year of 2020."
This could be the low end of QuickBooks’ estimate because, according to a recent survey they conducted, 17 million people will “make the leap” to start a new business in 2022. (Not all of them will file for an EIN, hence the difference from the 5.6 million projection.)

Cake and Prose — Create Arlington

CAKE & PROSE hosted by Create Arlington, is an incredible literary event that celebrates local talent. Saturday, Sept. 17th, 7pm, Bonnie Stufflebeam. Bonnie's fiction has appeared in over 90 publications such as Clarkesworld, Fantasy & Science Fiction, and Year’s Best Dark Fantasy and Horror as well as in six languages. Her work has been featured on LeVar Burton’s podcast LeVar Burton Reads and has been a finalist for the Nebula Award.
The formula behind Cake and Prose is quite simple . . .
Three stories.
A local author shares three stories — read by three different actors. These stories could be any genre. They could be short stories or excerpts of a longer work. It’s really up to the author to set the tone of the evening. Afterward, there is a book signing!
Three songs.
A musical performance by a local artist adds another layer to this night of entertainment. Themes can emerge between the stories and songs, creating a unique experience for the audience.
One cake.
During the intermission, there is cake. Really good cake from a local bakery. The author concedes that the cake often steals the spotlight, and that’s okay. Tonight, everyone leaves happy. 304 W. Main St. Arlington, Texas 76010
