📣 UPDATE 📣 A Feminine Phenomenon: Broadway Revival, comes to Arlington, MA at Park Avenue Congregational Church: Sun. October 20th at 3pm🎭
The program celebrates Broadway musical works by women, such as Kay Swift, Sarah Bareilles, Jeanine Tesori, and more - spanning about 100years of musicals!! With this revived chance to honor women creatives, we hope to see you there! 🎶🎵

This Sunday, go see our wonderful colleagues .ensemble perform these powerful works!🤍
Sunday, October 6 at 3 PM: Freedom, an orchestra concert with the Horizon Ensemble. Hear the first known symphony by a woman: the Viennese composer Marianna Martines. Catch world premieres by young composers Andrés Ballesteros and Sepehr Pirasteh about modern fights for freedom. The concert will finish with Johannes Brahms’s Third Symphony, centered around his personal motto: “free but happy”. Join your friends at West End Lyric for an afternoon of women-written Broadway hits, followed by a reception provided with the support of our friends at BackRoom Boston.

Time is running out to apply for our 2024-2025 season!! Have you sent in your prescreen?

HOW IT WORKS:
In order to be considered for this season (announcements forthcoming!), please send us your very best recording within the last two years. We will consider one piece that falls under the genre of an opera, art song, or musical theatre work. With your recording, please send us your most up-to-date resume and headshot to [email protected].

We will accept email submissions until August 19th (today!). *Please note that if you are NOT called to live audition by August 22nd, it does not mean that you are no longer considered.*

Those called to audition live will be called back for the following reasons: the creative team has requested to hear someone live, it is a singer our creative team has not heard or worked with before that they need to hear in person, or to settle a particular casting need that has to be done in-person, rather than via recording. We will be casting both from the recordings submitted and from those called to sing live.

If you do not have a way to make or send a recorded piece to us, please email us so we can do our best to make time to hear you in person.

We can’t wait to hear you! 🤩🎶🎶

We know you’ve all been waiting for West End Lyric Season 2. What’ll happen to your favorite characters?? Well don’t worry, the wait is over. We’re so excited to announce our 2024 recital series!

A Broadway Review: We’re teaming up with BackRoom Boston at the Boston Synagogue to bring you an afternoon of Broadway hits, programmed by Akela Franklin!

Broadway Brunch: Does watching Waitress make you hungry? Do you wish you could have French toast with a side of Drowsy Chaperone? Well now you can at our Broadway Brunch hosted at the Club Café!

What the Fach?! A Night at the Opera: We’re back in Club Café’s gorgeous Napoleon Room for a twisted take on a classic concert programmed by Jessica Bloch-Moisand! Come for the cocktails, stay for the mezzo singing Nessun Dorma 🥂🎶🥂

Welcome to the Opera: Join us at the Boston Synagogue for a reimagining of our What the Fach concert with the support of our friends at BackRoom Boston.
