Tacolalah is Arkansas City's premier multicultural event. The inaugural event was held in May 2019. The event will be held annually on the first Saturday in May.

United Agency, located at 726 N. Summit St., has once again generously donated $2,000 to become the Special Event Sponsor of the 2022 Tacolalah Festival on May 7.
The 2022 Tacolalah Festival presented by the V.J. Wilkins Foundation will feature a full day of festivities from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This event, now branded as the “2022 Tacolalah Festival presented by the V.J. Wilkins Foundation,” will feature a full day of festivities from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“The Wilkins Foundation is such an incredible supporter of our community,” said Candace Hendricks, chairwoman of the Tacolalah Executive Committee. “We are incredibly grateful to the trustees for this sponsorship, which will go to underwrite cultural, musical, and visual arts and entertainment for the entire day.”
Along with the City of Arkansas City and VISIT Ark City, the V.J. Wilkins Foundation serves as one of the Founding Sponsors of the Tacolalah event.
