Dimah is a DJ, producer, and designer. He crafts immersive musical experiences - each unfolding like a cinematic journey, guiding dancers through inception, transformation, and arrival.
Dimah’s sets blend many different genres seamlessly such as ambient, downtempo, ethnic and Latin house /techno and worship, spiritual songs.

We’re back at D st this Sunday in Arcata! 11-1pm

SHMiRZY (aka DJ Mir) is a local DJ and artist who grew up on the west coast with a passion for music and expression. After a bit of a hiatus, she is excited to blend various sounds and melt the dance floor as we dance our way into the magic of autumn! 🍂 💫
She first taught herself how to mix music at 20 years old and is an ever evolving artist who is currently learning how to produce electronic music integrating live percussion. Eclectic soundscapes come to life during Mir’s sets that create an elemental atmosphere - blending genres such as world bass, organic downtempo, dub, hip-hop, house, and more. From ecstatic dances to underground bass shows, SHMiRZY curates a space that encourages others to connect with their flow, to free the mind and heart.

Ecstatic Dance this Sunday at D Street! 🌄

Buckminster W. Q. Zaphod Barrett would go with his parents to conscious dance as a baby. He was immersed in the Santa Cruz dance scene in 2014, influenced by contact improv, fusion, and martial arts. He has DJ’d ecstatic dances around the California Coast since 2017. Fast forward to 2026, where he ran Synergy Ecstatic dance in Sebastopol, CA for almost 4 years before taking a hiatus from event production.�
Together with the dancers, he spontaneously curates an ecstatic wave unique to that moment's dancefloor. The boundaries of genre give way to a multi-faceted soundscape, with a healthy blend of World House, down-tempo Bass, polyrhythms, and indigenous folk melodies – with a heartfelt story that weaves it all together. The style can only be described as “tastefully eclectic,” with a focus on downtempo, spaciousness, dynamism, and “music with feeling.”�
All in all, it boils down to this prayer inherent in the rhythms: May we allow these sounds, familiar and fresh, to dissolve the monkey mind and re-mind the body of its own voice.

ecstatic dance at D St. this sunday 11-1 🔊

i’ll be serving up a ceremonial blend of raw rythm, organic medicine music, grass-fed wobbly bass and pasture-raised nostalgia this weekend at dance church— creating a space where movement becomes prayer and presence becomes medicine.

raíz means root, and reflects the intention behind these curated movement journeys— an invitation to root down and ground into the body, while also bringing in those vibe "raizing" rythms and bass lines. this set will be all about allowing ourselves peak full-body expression: moving freely, feeling fully, shaking it all off, and coming home to ourselves— to leave back into the world a little bit lighter.
