I’ve been really thinking on this. I’m going to lower my prices across the board and return to pre pandemic pricing.
Life has only gotten more expensive for everyone and while I have to make ends meet for my self and my boys, I still want people to have a chance to own my work without breaking the bank.
I increased prices due to rising material cost, and life expense cost. Unfortunately, everything kept going up and as a single mother, and the only income for my home, I had to as well.
I know my worth as an artist, however Im not going to stand on my worth, knowing so many can’t afford my work. When others can’t enjoy what I create because of an economy we don’t have control over, I can make a little difference. I can work harder if I need to make the difference.
While I could still sell, it would be at what price?
I would still have customers but less people have the joy of owning my art. The point of this has always been to share my art and light with the world. I hope this makes a difference
I have everything I need and I’m so happy with my life as it is. As long as I can maintain it, I’m happy.
Billionaires may not be in touch, and refuse to lower prices, but I will.
