C3 is partnering with schools to provide in-school hair support, self-care education, and confidence-building for students Because every child deserves to feel ready for their day.

One week ago we gathered for the Afro Hair Fair, a day full of learning, laughter, and celebrating our crowns.

From families discovering new hair care tips to kids proudly showing off their curls, it was a beautiful reminder that when we share knowledge and community, confidence grows.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and helped make it such a special day. We’re still smiling about it a week later.

From the Empower HER Summit hosted by

C3 was proud to be represented by Takieta, who spent the day connecting with young women and sharing the beauty, culture, and confidence rooted in Black hair.

Through hands-on conversation and demonstrations, students were able to explore how hair care, identity, and self-expression are all connected. Moments like these remind us that education around hair is more than just styling, it’s about confidence, culture, and community.

Thank you to the Empower HER Summit for creating a space where young women can grow, learn, and see themselves reflected in leadership.
