Sometimes the adventure you planned… isn’t the adventure you get.
I headed into Pisgah National Forest with a plan to backpack, camp, explore, and do a little trout fishing — but somewhere along the way, I had to make a decision.
Force the original plan… or adapt.
So I adapted.
And what could’ve felt like a failed trip turned into a great day exploring Harper Creek, chasing waterfalls, fishing mountain water, and learning something I’m carrying forward on this journey:
Changing the plan doesn’t mean you quit.
