I don't love AI, but I do have some fun with it from time to time. This is by far one of my favorite photos from this past season - recreated as a painting. It was a candid shot taken by the amazing April Lynn during a small break in Santa sessions at her studio Starrella Photography by Aprilynn.

The photo is awesome on it's own (and includes her lovely daughter), but I wanted to see what Sora would come up with if I asked it to recreate it in the style of one of my favorite artists - Alphonse Mucha. I felt the style would only enhance the original. Had to try severaal variations, but I have to say, I do like this.
While AI is fun, the true magic in this image was from the eye of the photographer - caputuring a beautiful moment in time. It makes me smile every time I see it.

My first year really taking things serious and booking new events was BIG. THANK YOU to so many that have supported this passion. In 2025, Santa Matt attended 24 events, including working with 3 photographers, several schools, multiple home visits, and even some corporate events. They were all different but I enjoyed every one.
Very much looking forward to 2026!

For anyone looking for an oppotunity to have a special visit with Santa for their family photos, there are still some available slots on Sunday, Dec 14th with the amazing Starrella Photography by April Lynn with a wonderful holiday setting in a private studio. No long lines or big crowds. One-on-one time with Santa, all captured in a fun and inviting atmosphere. There are also activities for kids, and refeshments.

What are you most cherished holiday traditions? Maybe a cookie you only bake for the holidays (gingerbread is one of my favorites - in a long list of cookies). Maybe it is putting up the tree, or going to an event. Maybe it is midnight mass, or staying up late to try to catch Santa in the act.
