🎶🍦 44 YEARS OF MUSIC, MEMORIES & A LITTLE TOO MUCH ICE CREAM! 🍦🎶

What a wonderful Sunday we had celebrating 44 years of performing at the beautiful Powers Church in Metz, Indiana! ❤️

We were honored to fill this historic little church with music as A Ca****la Magic Chorus presented a concert of spiritual and patriotic songs. From the first note to the last, it was a beautiful afternoon of music, tradition, and fellowship.

And we weren't the only ones making music! 🎵 We were delighted to have several quartets perform, including:

✨ Shimmertones
✨ Note to Self
✨ And a brand-new quartet that is so new they haven't even chosen a name yet! So, for now, we'll lovingly call them New Q. 😂

After the concert, the singing continued… just in a slightly different form! We headed over to Metz Christian Church for a delicious ice cream social. 🍨🍪🍰

Let's just say there were desserts. Lots of desserts. And we ate until we reached that magical point where moving seemed entirely unnecessary. 😂

What a wonderful way to celebrate 44 years of music, friendship, and memories at Powers Church!

Thank you to everyone who came, listened, sang along, shared desserts, and helped make this special tradition continue. ❤️

🎶 WELCOME TO THE RISERS, LAURA! 🎶

We are thrilled to welcome our newest member, Laura N., to the Lead Section of A Ca****la Magic Chorus! 💜🎵

Laura is a senior at Angola High School who is looking toward a future in the nursing field. She found us right here on Facebook, decided to give us a try… and apparently, we passed the audition! 😂

In fact, Laura hasn’t missed a rehearsal since she walked through the door! 🙌

Laura describes herself as a perfectionist—and we LOVE her enthusiasm, determination, and youthful energy! She jumped right in and is already becoming a wonderful addition to our chorus family. ❤️

And here's the good news: you don't have to be a perfectionist to join us! 😉 You just need to enjoy singing, be willing to take instruction, and have a desire to learn and have fun.

Sisters, the hour is upon us. The world is chaotic. Civilization is crumbling. The apocalypse may be closer than we think…

But there is still hope. 🎶

Because when the lights go out, the internet dies, and civilization as we know it collapses, who will sing?!

WE WILL. 😂🎶

A Ca****la Magic Chorus is calling all women who love to sing—or even women who think they might love to sing—to join us!

We are a fun, slightly crazy, four-part a ca****la chorus, and WE NEED YOU! Every voice matters. Whether you're a powerhouse who can rattle the windows or a quieter singer who prefers to blend into the musical fabric, there is a place for you in our chorus.

📜 Hear Ye! Hear Ye! 📜

By decree of the most harmonious ladies of A Ca****la Magic Chorus, all good citizens, patriots, travelers, and music lovers are hereby summoned to assemble at the Historic Powers Church, Metz Indiana on Sunday, the Twenty-Third of August, in the Year of Our Lord 2026, at the Sixth Hour of the Evening.

Come ye forth and partake in an evening of melodious harmonies, cheerful fellowship, and songs so delightful they may cause even the most solemn gentleman to tap his foot and the most proper lady to smile with abandon.

No powdered wig is required (though greatly admired), and attendance shall not be taxed! Bring thy family, thy friends, and thy patriotic spirit as we fill the historic sanctuary with music fit for a young republic.

So hitch up the carriage, saddle the horse, or simply climb aboard thy horseless carriage, and join us for an evening that promises to be most agreeable.

Every chorus member is valuable... yes, even the one in the back row who sings like she's trying to alert ships at sea. 😄

Some of us have voices that could fill a stadium. Others sing so sweetly you have to lean in to hear them.

Some show up dressed like they walked out of a fashion magazine. Others... let's just say "rehearsal chic" is a very flexible term. And then there are those who proudly embrace their inner weirdo. (You know who you are... and we love you for it.)

The funny thing is, none of that matters when we sing.

Every voice has a place. Every personality adds something special. Somehow, all our quirks, laughter, and harmonies fit together to create one amazing sound. That's the magic of chorus.
