You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. Finally, Duke Energy ran power lines to the studio. It may be a week before power is connected, but at least we’re one step closer. Maybe someday we’ll install power to the red storage building we call the barn, since a meter box is so close. 🤪

Cement is being poured today for the new pottery studio foundation and driveway. I couldn’t resist adding my 5 month old puppy’s paw prints! She was pretty cooperative, too! It will be 8 weeks before the studio is completed. I’ll post progress photos soon.

Hard to see in the photo, but pottery studio placement was decided today. Studio will be 25’x40’, with a driveway right up to it! Our red shed that we call “the barn” will remain for extra studio and garage storage. Construction for the studio starts June 8th! The studio is a dream of ours for a very long time. We’re very excited!
