My last outdoor market of the season is coming up at Double Shovel!

I’m wrapping up my outdoor market season where I also happen to have a whole bunch of BIG COLORFUL ART hanging on the walls ✨

Join me at Double Shovel’s Fall Outdoor Market. Saturday, October 17 from 12–6pm!
I’ll be outside with prints, cards, bookmarks + all the colorful Laughing Lupin goodies, while my Rooted & Wild collection is hanging just inside the c***ry. So this is a two'fer ~ shop the little stuff with me outside, then grab a c***r and wander inside to see the originals. 🌿

Double Shovel has a fantastic lineup of local makers, food trucks and HOT C***R planned. Basically everything required for one last Alaska outdoor-market hurrah before we all retreat indoors. 😂

Working on new pieces while I should be doing other things….😜
I use paint brushes most the time, but they don’t always create the texture I want. So then I go hunting for other tools, this one is just a little scrap of wood from Nicks stash of cut offs. I like how it breaks up the lines & creates this speckled effect so you see the layers below.

We’ll come back to this one when she’s done. For now, you’ll find me in the back room if you need me.Sara Allen

A lot of my inspiration for my art comes from walking bobber on Alaska Trails so I'm very happy to have an art package available for bidding on for their annual fundraiser.

You can find my bundle under the 'art' section. The Laughing Lupin package has an 8x10 print, a matted 5x7, a card pack of 5 greeting cards and a hand painted and wood burned ski ornament.

All three of these are new. Fall is in the air even if the snowline hasn’t creeped down the hillsides yet, we know it’s coming sooner than later!
Lottie Dottie ~ (she likes to party) is an 12x16. Coppers, teal, purple & a little or a lot of dot on dot chaos. Got a little lost in the polka dot sauce with this one!

Inside The Fire Line ~ is an 16x20. Your world may be on fire, but if you can dig in & hold boundaries you can still find the beautiful blooms inside of that safety area.

Conditions May Vary ~ is a biggie 30x40. A reminder of the days when you wear all the layers, the micro seasons between season we have here.

Whelp, if you go to double shovel today for their market pop up, I won’t be there. I’ll be here…on the couch, with my foot up.

Broke my footy, I’ll be fine, I’m just klutzy.
So far, no surgery, so I’m calling that a win…I guess 🙄😩🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ll have plenty of time to make new things tho, so hey, maybe it’s good I have to sit still 😜🎨
