y’all. the energy at S T R U T on saturday was out of this world! I wish I had gotten more pics and videos of everything!! and I feel like a foolllll for not taking my own pics with Dariel Rodriguez 🫣😭 I was so star struck, I got so shy at the meet and greet and ran away 😩 didn’t even take a pic of the bracelet I made for her before giving it to her. ugh.
I had such a good time, everyone looked so stunning, and I am so delighted to have been there! thank you dearly Deryck Todd and Mad Myrna's for having us!

big ol life shift announcement!!

first, a huge thank you to everyone who has come out to support these last few events! 🫶

I’ve been reckoning with some big shifts that need to take place right now in this season of life.. feeling a bit devastated, and a deep sense of relief.
beyond the events I already have booked this summer, I have made the difficult decision to step back from markets for awhile.
its too stressful to try and do it all, while being a full time parent. this is Peridot’s first summer earthside, and I want to be more present for the sake of presence, and less stressed about events that,,, ultimately in the long run, don’t,, really matter as much as this time of my life, or their life.

its a different season that has changed me in every way way, and I am deeply grateful for all of the support our family has received, and deeply grateful to know that support isn’t going anywhere.
I want to enjoy my summer. I want to enjoy OUR summer.
and, I absolutely know, that without the pressure of markets, my creative flow will return to a true flow, and I really look forward to that.
and I’ll still be here, but, it will look different for awhile, and I’m shifting into acceptance of that.

I love you all, and appreciate you all so very much. I’m excited to be present this summer, and invite you to do the same 🫶

I have a confession:
since having Peridot, or at least more recently, I think I look more confident and most myself, in pictures with them. I have sooooo many pictures of us together and they’re my favorites. when I look through my photos to make a post, its so difficult to not show you all the precious little critter I am more proud of than anything. I am forever grateful for people who capture some of these moments I am privileged to share with them. and so grateful to have had such a beautiful birth, and such affirming care through my pregnancy. so many tiny pieces that came together to create that safety in the vulnerable state of bringing them earthside. it was such a sacred experience, and similarly, I would love to share all about it in deep gratitude, and, I know its important for me to hold the experience close to me in protection and tenderness. anyways, I didn’t mean to get so sappy into it on this gloomy friday morning, but here we are. while holding two worlds in my hands and heart, I see the ways I have bloomed into Mothering, knowing it is aligned for me in so many ways. I also hold some deep grief for the versions of myself I have had to let go of, some dormant, and some slowly emerging again, transformed. feeling weepy and grateful and everything in between.
