With a little encouragement from friends and family, I submitted my Bacon & Chocolate Chip Banana Bread to the Alaska State Fair baking contest and in my category I won 3rd place 😁 ...how you like them apples...err I mean bananas!!

Well… apparently the Squatch has been evicted before ever moving in. 😂🦶🍌

I did some research after being informed of this and confirmed that the KGB & Vine location has been shut down by DOT for vendors, so unfortunately we won’t be setting up there today like planned.

BUT… you can’t keep a Squatch down that easily. 👀

I’m currently brainstorming/scouting a new Wasilla-area location that I can set up and get some banana bread into your hands! 🍌🍞

I’ll post an update as soon as I figure out where we’re landing. Today's weather may play a role too. Keeping my fingers crossed I won't be canceling.

Anyone ever heard of a Banana Bread Only garage sale?? Lol

🍌 SAMSQUATCH IS HITTING WASILLA TOMORROW! 🦶🌲

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 22, Samsquatch Provisions & Trading LLC is setting up at the corner of Vine & KGB in Wasilla starting at 11 AM!

We’re trying out a new spot, so if you’re cruising down KGB, follow the smell of banana bread and come say hi! 😂

🍞 Tomorrow’s Banana Bread Lineup:
🍌 Classic – The OG. Simple, delicious, and loaded with banana goodness.
🫐 Blueberry – Banana bread packed with sweet blueberries.
🍫 Chocolate Chip – Because chocolate makes everything better.
🥓🍫 Bacon & Chocolate Chip – Sweet, salty, chocolatey, bacon-y madness. Don’t knock it until you try it!

🔥 Grab a whole loaf or get a warm slice right off the griddle with butter and your choice of extra toppings!

With the Alaska State Fair going on, we figured there might be a few hungry people wandering around the Valley who need some banana bread in their lives.

Looking for input....

I’m thinking about setting up Samsquatch Provisions & Trading this Saturday at the corner of KGB & Vine with fresh banana bread, warm buttery slices off the griddle, and all the Squatch-worthy toppings. 🍌🍞🔥

BUT… the Alaska State Fair starts this week, which means a whole lot of people will be heading toward Palmer. 🎡

So before I start planning a mountain of banana bread, I need some community wisdom:

👉 Would KGB & Vine be a good spot this Saturday?
👉 Would you stop if you saw the Squatch set up there?
👉 Or will everyone be at the Fair?

After one crazy, nutty summer of selling banana bread, meeting amazing people, and watching my kid grow more confident with every event, this new flavor seemed pretty fitting…
