This is where art and language come to life in creative, meaningful ways.

Pottery, art, and Koine Greek are my jam, and I genuinely love getting to share them with your kiddos.

I’m just over here trying to keep up with where the Lord is leading as He continues to grow this little business. It’s been so sweet to watch Him open doors I never could have imagined. Thank you for trusting me with your kids, for supporting this crazy dream, and for cheering Doxa on. It has been such a joy getting to know your families, and I can’t wait to welcome even more this year. Yayayaya!!

Day ONE of Koine Greek this fall, we will dive into the Greek alphabet!

Students (from kids to high schoolers) will learn all 24 letters, how to write each one, and the sound each letter makes. By Day TWO, we’ll already be putting those letters together to read and pronounce real Koine Greek words—the language of the New Testament!

It’s going to be amazing to see how quickly young minds grasp a new language. If you’ve been thinking about enrolling your child this fall, now is the perfect time to join us. I can’t wait to introduce students to the language God used to preserve the New Testament!

As mommas start to plan out the fall, keep in mind Doxa’s fall schedule! I am excited for your kiddos to join us for each of these classes. Please reach out with any questions, I am more than happy to help!

✨Koine Greek I (Tuesdays and Thursdays from @ Mountain City Church)
✨Koine Kids! (Wednesdays OR Thursdays @ Mountain City Church)
✨Various Art Mediums (Tuesdays @ East Anchroage Home)
✨Clay Handbuilding (Tuesdays OR Thursdays @ East Anchorage Home)
✨Pottery Lessons — after school, Fridays, and weekends!
✨The Green Room — if you are looking for a 3rd - 5th grade teacher in the core four subjects, I will also be a teacher for a local hybrid homeschool in East Anchorage - https://www.thegreenroomlearning.com

✨Workshops — about once a month, I will host a workshop eitehr for kiddos or a girls night for the mommas, creating something beuatiful out of nothing, which is what women do best!

How is this my JOB!!

What an honor to teach your kids!!

Did you know the New Testament wasn’t originally written in “classical” Greek? It was written in Koine Greek—the everyday language of ordinary people in the first century. God chose the common language of the people so His Word could be read!!

Fall Greek:
Elementary (must be able to read)
• Wednesdays | 4:00–5:00 PM OR
• Thursdays | 11:30 AM–12:30 PM

Middle & High School
• Tuesdays and Thursdays | 9:30–11:00

Looking for a fun, hands-on activity for your kiddos this July? Come get messy with clay! 🤎

Mondays OR Tuesdays at 1 PM (no classes the week of July 19 for a little summer break! ☀️)

Every month brings brand new projects, so whether your child has been coming or is joining us for the first time, they’ll get to learn new skills and create something different!

🌿 Garden Gnome – We’ll handbuild an adorable gnome to bring a little whimsy to your garden or home.

🪴 Slab Pot – We’ll learn slab-building techniques while creating a personalized pot for plants, treasures, or whatever your kiddo dreams up!

Let’s chat fine motor skills👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

As children cut, trim, and shape clay, they strengthen hand muscles, improve hand-eye coordination, and develop the fine motor skills needed for writing, drawing, and everyday tasks. Working with a clay knife also builds focus, patience, and confidence as children learn to use a real tool with purpose.

I believe the best learning happens through the hands. Every cut and curve is helping young artists grow in skill, creativity, and dexterity. 🥳✨

I LOVE this language!! Learning Koine Greek gives your child the opportunity to engage more deeply with God’s Word at an early age.

Koine Greek courses integrate hands-on learning with the language of the New Testament, helping students actively engage with Scripture while building a foundation in biblical Greek. If you desire for your child’s knowledge of the Word to deepen and for them to confidently work through the Greek of Scripture, this class is a great tool!

Elementary Students
• Wednesdays | 4:00–5:00 PM

• Thursdays | 11:30 AM–12:30 PM

Middle & High School Students
• Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:30–11:00 AM

At their level, students will learn the alphabet, vocabulary, grammar, and translation skills while developing a richer understanding of God’s Word and the world of the early church.
