In time, the color may change due to environmental factors like sun exposure, perhaps body chemistry, and makeup products. If you want your permanent makeup to look its best, you should get a touch-up (correction) every two years.
Ink will unavoidably fade over time, changing color slightly due to your own pigmentation, even if you take all the precautions in the world.

What is Lip Blush?
โLip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and give the illusion of fuller lips.โ
Don't expect dramatic results.
If youโre looking for a permanent retro red shade or super sharp lines, this is not the treatment for you. While I can alter tone or shape a bit, it wonโt be by more than a couple of shades. The result is meant to be subtle.
The pain is surprisingly minimal.
Simply avoid ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E the day before to reduce the possibility of bruising and bleeding.
You will need lots of lip balm.
If youโve ever gone on Accutane, then you have an idea of the level of dryness youโll experience post lip blushing.
Plan for a touch-up.
โSometimes skin on your lips is rougher,โ โThis can cause some areas to appear darker or more blurred than others after one session.โ If this happens to you, donโt panic! Touch up is the perfecting session. I will add more color and blend seamlessly.
It's not cheap.
Like other minimally invasive cosmetic treatments, you get what you pay for when it comes to lip blushing. Be wary of anyone offering a deal that seems too good to be true. A semipermanent treatment is not the time to take risks.
