David Fluhr '79 is the supervising rerecording mixer for Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he mixes the sound of an animated film from development through the final film release.

Fluhr has contributed to every Disney Animation film since 2004’s Chicken Little, and has worked on films such as Frozen, Moana, and most recently Zootopia 2!

So THIS happened today-- I am thrilled to have received an Honorary Doctor of Music Degree from my alma mater, Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam New York. Dr. Suzanne Smith and her team surprised me with this news a couple of months ago, and today at Disney Animation we held the ceremony with friends, family and colleagues from way back through now in our theater. What an unbelievable honor this is--and a huge life milestone for me. I'll post more pix soon--but I am so grateful for all who helped me though the years.
