Welcome to our room on the Disney Wish!

We are in the Deluxe Family with Veranda on the Starboard side. This room sleeps up to 5. 1 King bed, a sofa bed, a Murphy bed and a pull down bunk bed. You can request character sheets when you meet your stateroom attendant and if they are available, the sofa bed and bunk bed will be changed!

The toilet room and shower room are separate and the shower has a small tub bottom to wash young kids!

The verandah is able to lock and is difficult to open on purpose to keep kids from getting out there without an adult.

I love the Cinderella theming of this room!

Bon Voyage!

We are off on a sailing adventure on the Disney Wish!

We started our first day with checking out the kids clubs for Bella and Liam and getting them registered. Next we grabbed a quick lunch from Mickey’s Festival of Foods and then enjoyed the Sail Away Party on the pool deck. It was so much fun!

Cocoa Beach!

Sophia and I visited Cocoa Beach in Feb. with the drill team trip and really wanted to come back for our trip with the family. Unfortunately, the conditions of the beach have changed since Feb. Apparently in the spring each year the Sargassum (Brown Algae) occasionally piles up on the sand. It covered the beach for as far as my eye could see North and South.

Despite the weird seaweed/algae all over the sand, Bella and Liam still had fun digging in the sand and running into the water. The weather was warm, but windy.

Florida here we come!

We took the red eye flight option out of SLC to LAS then to MCO. We left SLC around 7:30pm (MDT) and landed in LAS around 8pm (PDT). Our flight to MCO wasn’t till 11:45pm (PDT), so we had a long layover. We finally landed in at MCO at 7:30am (EDT).

After getting a smoothie for breakfast and catching an Uber to Cocoa Beach, we arrived at 9:30am (EDT). It’s about an hour from Orlando. Now it’s beach time!

Tomorrow we board the Disney Wish!

We are off to Florida for a wild week of Cocoa Beach, Disney Cruise Line, Kennedy Space Center and Walt Disney World for Sophia’s Graduation and my husband and I’s 20th Wedding Anniversary.

I can’t wait to spread some Pixie Dust on the Disney Wish this weekend!

My husband found the file for these Disney Wish Disney Store style keys and it makes my former Disney Store Cast Member heart so happy!

Anyone else collect the Disney Store keys? I have MANY of them from my time as a Cast Member.

It’s happening!

Starting June 9, 2026 no more waiting until 11am to park hop! This is for guests with a park hopper ticket and Magic Key holders 💖 but you still need a park reservation. I’m so excited for this change! Feels like a move back to how Disneyland use to be before COVID.
