As someone who wants to be creating all the time, what a gift Fidalgo Artisan Yarn & Clothing has been. Lori, Fran, and Maggie have shown incredible patience, warmth, and expertise while helping me learn knitting and crocheting. The learning curve—especially for knitting—has been challenging, but their encouragement and willingness to share their knowledge have made the journey enjoyable and rewarding. I'm deeply grateful for their support and highly recommend this shop. Thank you to you all for everything you do!!!

To those who reached out to participate in the “Fused Glass Orca Experience”, there are two people who would like to form a group for next Wednesday June 10th from 11:30-2 for a class. Please reach out and let me know if you’d like to join in. Cost is $110 per person (does not include stand) and will be ready a few days after the class.

MoonWater Arts is excited and honored to present “Star” J46 in the gallery this June. Meet artist Sarah Plane who created 1 or 75 Killer Whale Dorsal Fins as part of the Orca Behavior Institute‘s exhibition. This exhibition consists of 75 life size fins representing one of the each remaining Southern Resident Killer Whales. The fins will be displayed throughout the region and beyond to raise awareness, inspire action, and translate their research into powerful visual storytelling.

Come meet Sarah during the First Friday Artwalk on June 5th from 6-8PM.
