Both of these fabulous artists have created excellent quality watercolor books. There is no expense spared when these two use 140lb water colorpaper in their workbooks. Change is good and we’re so happy to have both of them in the gallery. Thank you julienorkusfragments and paintandpigmentstudios.

I’ve often wondered about this because I’ve heard and pronounced this all kinds of ways. While visiting the gardens, I asked several of the workers the correct pronunciation of the gardens….So….here is it.
The correct pronunciation of Butchart (as in The Butchart Gardens) is BUTCH-art, where "butch" sounds exactly like the word in "Butch Cassidy"

Back in the gallery and studio today after a lovely little getaway to Vancouver Island, celebrating 40 years of marriage. 💜

Here’s a little peek into our own “making space” time — slowing down, wandering, laughing, breathing in the beauty around us, and simply enjoying being together.

Sometimes making space means stepping away for a bit… so you can come back feeling a little more full.

And today, I’m very happy to be back at MoonWater. 💜

I’ve received so many beautiful private messages about this week’s MoonWater Journal, **“Making Space.”**

So many of you shared that you needed those words. That you needed the reminder that making space for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

And I’ve been thinking about that.

Sometimes we write something from our own heart, never really knowing where it might land. And then we discover that someone else has been standing in a very similar place, needing the very same reminder.

Maybe that’s one of the loveliest things about sharing our stories.

We realize we’re not the only ones.

Thank you to everyone who reached out and shared a little piece of your heart with me. Your messages meant more than you know. 💜

Tomorrow morning MoonWater Arts welcomes Dave, Allan, & Patrice from kafe104.1 radio into the gallery and studio. Looking forward to them visiting our beautiful town and spending some time creating fused glass that will make its way into their studio!!! They just want to take them home instead 😉. Either way, we’re excited to have them here. And…. for the cherry on top…it’s Patrice’s birthday tomorrow! Wish her a happy birthday!
