Built for work, not decoration. 🤠

Hand-tooled farrier cuff made from scratch for Horseshoe Cowboy — centered around his JH cattle brand and framed with a horseshoe design.

Cut. Tooled. Dyed. Finished by hand right here in Amarillo, Texas.

There’s something pretty satisfying about turning a sketch and a piece of leather into something that’ll actually get put to work trimming and shoeing horses.

Building this one from scratch. 🤠🐎

A custom farrier cuff for Horseshoe Cowboy — starting with raw leather and turning it into something made to actually work for a living.

Cut, shape, tool, stitch, finish. No factory shortcuts. Just leather, tools, and probably more coffee than necessary.

There’s something satisfying about making gear for someone who still works with their hands.

Customer brought this suede bag in with some pretty noticeable stains, so we’re putting the leather-cleaning skills to work.

Suede doesn’t give you much room for mistakes… clean too aggressively and you can make it worse. 😬

Big delivery day for Prairie Hyde Leather Goods.

Wrapped up one of our largest reupholstery jobs yet—23 pieces of commercial gym equipment rebuilt and recovered, loaded up, and headed back to Contagion Athletics.

Built to take abuse. Clean enough to look like furniture. Ready for thousands more reps.

I appreciate the continued trust and repeat business. There’s something satisfying about seeing an entire load of worn-out equipment leave the shop looking new again.

It still feels surreal seeing my story shared by the Texas Veterans Commission.

What started as a creative outlet in my garage has grown into opportunities I never imagined. Prairie Hyde continues to grow one handcrafted piece at a time, and behind the scenes HeliCorbin is taking some exciting steps into the aerospace and defense world.

This week is another milestone as I continue building the foundation for future government contracting opportunities. Some doors take years to open, but every registration, certification, and relationship is another brick in the wall.

I’m grateful for everyone who’s supported this journey—from buying a handcrafted wallet or bag to offering advice, sharing a post, or simply believing in the vision.

The goal has never been just to build products. It’s to build a legacy for my kids.
