Happy Father’s Day to all the superhero dads out there from all of us at Tascosa Drive-In.

This picture is extra special to us. It’s our best friend, who passed away years ago, pictured with our youngest son when he showed up as Captain America for his birthday. He was one of those people who made life bigger, louder, funnier, and better just by being there. He also left behind three sons of his own, and today is a good reminder that none of us are promised forever.

So dads, hug your kids.

Kids, hug your dads.

Tell them you love them. Tell them you appreciate them. Take the picture. Make the memory.

And if you’re looking for a way to show Dad a little love, bring him out to Tascosa Drive-In for a cold beer, some great food, and a night under the stars watching movies together. Because sometimes the best gift is just time spent together.

Going to the movies is fun… but coming to the drive-in is an experience.

It’s not just about watching a movie.

It’s about coming early, finding your spot, letting the kids run and play, setting up chairs and blankets, ordering snacks, playing cards, throwing a ball around, and actually spending time together before the movie ever starts.

The drive-in has a different kind of magic.

It’s part movie night, part family night, part outdoor hangout…almost like a little festival under the stars. You’re not rushing into a theater, sitting down, watching a movie, and leaving. You’re making a whole night out of it.

Bring the kids. Bring the grandparents. Bring the blankets, chairs, games, and snacks. Let the kids play on the playground, run around on our 7 acres, and make memories they’ll talk about later.

Because one day, they may not remember every movie you took them to…

But they’ll remember piling into the car, staying up late, eating popcorn under the stars, and spending the night together at the drive-in.

That’s what we love most about this place.

Two Ford 8N Tractors For Sale
$3,500 takes both, the parts, and the brush hog

Fresh from the legendary grounds of the Tascosa Drive In, we are selling two classic Ford 8N tractors that have probably mowed more movie magic, popcorn trails, and West Texas weeds than any machine has a right to brag about.

These old girls are not showroom queens. They are project tractors with history, attitude, and just enough stubbornness to remind you they were built when men wore denim to weddings and tractors were made out of actual metal.

Here is the deal:

We are asking $3,500 for both tractors. That includes both Ford 8Ns, all the extra parts we have, and the brush hog implement currently attached to the tractor on the right.

The tractor with the painted wheels has a cracked engine block, but most of the parts on it are still good.

The tractor on the right was running, but the last time we used it, it was overheating. We replaced several parts, including the head gasket and header/manifold area, and we have more than enough parts to put that tractor back together and make one good usable tractor out of the two.

Basically, this is a two tractor treasure chest for somebody who knows their way around old Fords and wants a cool project with a little Tascosa Drive In history attached to it.

Perfect for someone who says, “I can fix that,” and actually can.

Come get a piece of drive in history before I accidentally convince myself we need to keep them forever.

$3,500 for everything.
