Allegheny Ukulele Soirée Join us April 24 - 26, 2026 for the Allegheny Ukulele Soirée! Curious about the Ukulele? We had such a good time we decided to do it again!

The annual Allegheny Ukulele Soiree, usually an in-person event, is a great way to spend an entire weekend around the music and culture of the ukulele! Give one a strum or two and learn about the different sizes and styles available. Nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in central Pennsylvania, the Allegheny Ukulele Soiree will be held at the Laurel Lodge just outside of Altoona, PA

. Dedicated to sharing the ukulele with both the local and ukulele communities, the Soiree blends practical workshops with cultural exploration. The Soiree was established in February of 2014 as a way to introduce ourselves to the community and to grow our membership. Our primary goal is to share our love of the Ukulele with the local community. The Soiree also presents an opportunity for us to bring in top talent in the Ukulele world to central Pennsylvania. In our first year, we saw over 100 people at the Soiree! Since the turnout was so fantastic (and since there just aren't any uke festivals within 5 hours of us), we decided to take the plunge and make this an annual festival.

MAHALO! This weekend was excellent and exciting and we are so glad we got to share it with you! The Soirée team would like to thank all of our artists for exceptional workshops and performances! We hope you had a wonderful time and made new friends, enjoyed fabulous music, and learned so much.
