Meet a rising star! Amelia Farr, co-winner of the Ranch’s Summer 2026 Youth Artist Showdown, delivers a stunning track with “Red Letter.” Amelia wrote the song and performed every part herself—piano, lead vocals, and seven (!) layers of background vocals—and the Ranch is so proud to have had the opportunity to capture every second.

This Gainesville, Georgia 11th grader impressed all eight competition judges, who unanimously named her original home demo of “Red Letter” a standout. Listen to this short clip of her studio recording and you will see why!

Thanks to Alpharetta High's music production lead and contest judge Jeremy Dudman who added some classy stand-up bass.

Amelia plans to add the full song to streaming platforms everywhere. Follow the Ranch for the official release announcement—you won’t want to miss it!

We promised Part 2—and it’s here!

Turn it up and get comfortably numb as Eden Kirkland Music joins the Southern Rhythm Revival house band for another unforgettable Pink Floyd classic.

Eden’s powerhouse vocals take center stage in the Ranch's live room—and it’s hard to believe she’s still in high school! Soak in her performance and share it with a fellow Floyd fan. Can you guess the final song that will be Part 3?

The band:
Mark Allan Wolfe — guitar and BGVs
Rob Ocello — keys
Earl Wasserman — bass
Brian Henry— drums, tracking, and mixing

Who should be Southern Rhythm Revival’s next guest artists? We have the next one scheduled, but are still on the hunt—drop your suggestions in the comments or light up our phone!

Today, the Ranch welcomed the next generation of music creators! Students from Promise Preparatory Academy, led by Professor J.T. Lee, as they stepped inside the studio for a hands-on tour of how recording spaces have evolved—and why their creative energy still matters. We explored signal flow, analog tape, talked about AI’s negative impact on artistic creativity, and watched several students jump into the vocal isolation booth to record some seriously cool vocals.

The best review of the day? “I never want to leave this place!” For students raised in the digital era of bedroom and basement recording, the visit offered a fresh appreciation for the vital role professional studios play in bringing real human music to life.

Their excitement even wore out studio dogs Teddy and Paisley!
