Every so often, a voice-over makes you stop what you're doing and think,
"Oh, now that was good."

Maybe it was a car commercial, a video game character, a movie trailer or an audiobook narrator who pulled you all the way in.

What voice or campaign has grabbed your attention lately?

Tell us in the comments, and let us know what made it work.

Did you know you can join your talent's recording session with us? Hang back and listen, or dive in and help craft every phrase until it sounds just right.

We love the team effort. Sometimes we walk in thinking we know exactly how a line should land, only to discover an even better way together.

The best sessions aren't just about getting the words recorded. They're about experimenting, collaborating, and creating something we're all excited about.

If you'd like to join the session on your next project, let us know when you book. Learn more at gmvoices.com

If you could redesign your voiceover booth in ANY theme, what would it be?

No rules. No budget. Just imagination.

The TARDIS from Doctor Who? A My Little Pony rainbow extravaganza? A broom closet?

We all need a little inspiration.

Voice talent, what’s your dream booth theme?

GM Voices has been producing voice and audio projects out of Georgia since 1985. Four decades of experience across just about every vertical of voice and localization.

These days, that also means teaming up with StoneTrail Creative to make video production simple for the businesses we work with: professional video and voice over, one point of contact, one timeline. No need to coordinate two separate vendors to get a project done right.

Whether you're putting together a training video, a brand video, or content for your website, and need a voiceover in English or multiple languages, we've got you covered.

Let's talk about what we can build together.

Komorebi (木漏れ日)

A Japanese word for the beautiful, dappled sunlight that filters through the leaves of trees.

You know that feeling when the sun hits just right and everything feels a little more magical? There’s a word for that.

And yes, we love a language that gives a name to a moment like this.

At GM Voices, we know how to reach the actors we’ve worked with, even years after the original session.

That matters when a producer needs six more lines for a character two years after a game ships. If the original actor can’t be found, recasting the role may mean re-recording every existing line for that character.

We’ve worked with many of our actors for decades, so we generally know who is still recording, what their current rates are, and when they may be available. We also keep records of the mic and signal chain used in each session, the room settings, and direction notes from the original performance. Sometimes those notes are still in pencil on the original script.

Together, those records and relationships make it easier to bring back the original actor and recreate the sound of the original session.

If you’re casting a title and want a partner who plans for that kind of continuity, learn more at gmvoices.com.

Real characters, real titles, and real players who met these voices in the game.

GM Voices is actively working with game studios to build worlds full of characters with dimension, character, and humanity. We're here when narrative carries the experience.

There’s something special about one artist helping another bring a story to life.

A book can take months or years to write, and turning it into an audiobook means trusting another artist with the story. A narrator does much more than read the words. They understand the pacing, emotion, tone, and characters, giving listeners a new way to experience the story while staying true to the author’s intent.

At GM Voices, we cast and record professional audiobook narrators across genres, from fantasy and romance to memoirs and business titles. Your words deserve a voice that understands the story behind them.

Let’s tell your story together >> gmvoices.com

Synthetic voice is basically free now, yet game studios are still casting real actors for narrative work.

That's not just nostalgia, but a true production decision.

Casting and recording game narration is some of the most interesting work we do at GM Voices, and the reason keeps coming back to performance. Emotion, character, direction, and the read that changes on take four because the actor finally understood something about the scene. That's still human territory.

Tim Shoemaker wrote up the case for it: why real actors keep earning their place in narrative games, and where synthetic audio actually fits.
