We would like your help!
As many of you know, the programming that we have held in the parks over the past three years were funded through a grant opportunity through the State of Michigan. The grant expires September 30th, and we are feverishly working on additional funding to keep these programs alive! We will forever be grateful to the State of Michigan for giving us a chance to get this program off the ground, but now we need more help to keep it going.
A couple of grants that we are applying for have asked for community impact statements from members of the community that were impacted by the most recent grant. That is where you come in. If you are willing, please consider providing a brief statement of what adding programs have meant to you. Whether you participated in one of our Evenings in the Park events, played in a sports league, listened to our Summer Concert Series, worked out in one of our fitness or yoga classes, had a child attend the Summer Parks Camp Program, came to one of our events at the Alma Public Library, or any of our other activities, we would love to know how you enjoyed the programs and if you want to see it continue into the future.

We want to thank the community for all of the kind words we've received, the stories you've told, and the participation that we've had in these events. And don't worry, we plan on ending with a bang, so stay tuned for a couple of fun opportunities over the next few weeks as we wrap up the season!
