Okay, I'll date myself...the first camera I remember using was a Brownie! I started taking photos of my family and friends first. My Dad was a very good photographer, and I enjoyed looking at his work wishing I could be as good some day. When I was 17 years old, my Dad and I were out on his sailboat on Lake Michigan and he wanted to take some pictures...well, the camera fell in the lake! After tha

t, and another lost/and or broken camera, he finally handed me his last one and said, 'Here, it's your turn, you take the pictures now.' Since then I have never been without a camera in my possession. I learned by trial and error mostly, but did take a certificate photography course in Minneapolis, MN. My first job was with a small suburban newspaper in the Twin Cities area; I also did portrait photography, a few weddings, and even a very short career in Helicopter photography! I am a full time landscape designer now, and my passion has turned to landscape photography! I hope you enjoy my work, and please feel free to leave comments!
