Wanna know one of the things I love about the Festivals put on by The Commander in Edgewood? There is one person, though I will not name them, who always stays in character around my Cardinal character. Every time I see her, she gives the formal greeting of meeting a Cardinal. A small bow or curtsey, call me "Your Eminence", kiss my ring, then begin talking to me. Now I know to many that seems like such a silly thing to do, but it is such an awesome moment of character work and the fact that not many people do formal greetings within the Ren Faire and LARP community leaves something desired. When around me in character, if your character has a title, you will always hear me refer to them by their 'style' of reference. "Your Majesty", "Your Excellency", "Your Grace". It gives that little boost of confidence to anyone in character.
