🪲🐝🐛 Anastasia Andersen, one of our founding members, is offering all of her 31 fantastical Bug-a-Day images as greeting cards. Created for fourteenfifteen gallery’s 2026 Fun-a-Day challenge, these whimsical insects are printed in full color on acid free greeting card stock in A2 size (5.5” x 4.25”). 🎉🎂🎈Today is our birthday! One year ago today the Crones met for the first time. It’s been an exciting 12 months—finding our feet, deciding who we are as a group and what we want to accomplish. We just had our first show, and we have another coming up in July at Little Bird Gallery. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has encouraged and supported us and bought our art. We look forward to another 12 months of art adventures!

🩵🐦‍⬛🩵 A huge thank-you to everyone who braved New Mexico’s crazy spring winds and came to the opening reception for “A Conspiracy of Corvids.” We had a wonderful crowd of art lovers and friends, old and new, not to mention library patrons who wandered over to check out the hullabaloo and enjoy the refreshments. We are thrilled that we sold over a third of the show. But not to worry. “A Conspiracy of Corvids” is up through March 20, so there’s plenty of time to check it out and claim your own piece of crow-themed art. (Los Griegos Public Library, 1000 Griegos Rd. NW., Albuquerque.)

🐦‍⬛ Hello Albuquerque and beyond! 🐦‍⬛

Many of you know and follow us individually. We’ve formed a small collective to encourage each other in our art practice, and to amplify our voices as artists and women.

Some things we do together: make art from intriguing prompts . . . . . create exhibits . . . . . go on art field trips . . . . . support each other on our creative paths.

We meet on the second Monday of every month. If you think you might like to become a Crone, come attend a meeting to see what we’re about. Email [email protected] for information.
