We started in Albuquerque, New Mexico and ended at the Santa Monica Pier in California! Fun fact: I’m terrified of snakes buuuut I still like to see them in nature. And I like to draw them. I didn’t like how this block print turned out at first so much that I actually got rid of the carving. But I put it in my Etsy shop thinking maybe someone will see something in it that I didn’t and it ended up growing on me over time. So I ended up making another carving so I’d have it to reprint others. Art is funny that way.

So this is what it’s like to fall in love all over again! I picked up my Linocut printmaking tools a few weeks ago to make a card for and it’s quickly snowballed into an obsession. I love the feel of the tools in my hands. The first time I gripped it just felt right. I love watching the design unfold and I love rolling the ink onto the carving. But my absolute favorite part is seeing the print revealed when you slowly lift the paper up.

I’ve carved about a dozen prints and had some luck selling them locally on Facebook Marketplace so I thought I’d try and get more of my art out into the world via an Etsy store. Link in bioiooo. Shipping is on me and everything so far is under $20. Let me know what you’d like to see me carve next!

It’s hard to believe but 2026 is our 10th year in business! 🥳 It’s an anniversary we never imagined because in the beginning we just wanted to survive. But slowly one month turned into another and then a year and then another. We are grateful to every client who has chosen to work with us and helped us not only live out a dream of creating photos and videos together but also doing this life together.
