Our Maddie made us so proud this week and made a HUGE step in advocating for herself. Maddie attended her first 504 meeting to advocate for herself and talk about her needs and what will help her to succeed at school!

Cece went to her first movie this weekend (Paw Patrol of course) and Disney on Ice. There were parts that were just too loud for her. It was incredible to just able to go on the app on my phone to adjust her volume so that she could comfortably enjoy the shows!!

Delaware and local friends!! Arielle has partnered with Nemours Audiology and the Center for the Creative Arts to host an event 10/1 from 2-4pm. This event celebrates Audiology and Protect your Hearing Awareness Month! The event is open to everyone and includes: - Free art/craft session for children from the directors of the Center for the Creative Arts
- Free hearing screenings for children and adults from
Nemours Audiologists
- Free food, snacks, and soft drinks
- Vendor tables
- Presentation from Nemours Director of Audiology Dr.
Yell Inverso, on Audiology 101 and protecting your hearing health
- Fall Market with local artists outside from 11-3pm. It’ll be a wonderful afternoon of fun, connecting, creating, and celebrating! We look forward to seeing you!

So excited to check out this new book by . As a hearing person raising a deaf child we both feel it’s important to learn about Deaf culture. Nyle’s book looks to give us that glimpse into the Deaf experience 🤟🏼.
