We’ve been busy creating, painting, and adding a little more personality to Susie’s Signs! 🎨❤️

Our newest additions include a bright You Are My Sunshine sign, our adorably grumpy little pig, two colorful gnomes, and a whimsical butterfly friend ready to brighten up your home. 🌻🐷🦋

Each piece is made from wood and individually hand-painted, so no two are exactly alike. Those little variations are part of what makes handmade special!

🐾 Meet Susie... our newest Shelf Sitter and the inspiration behind Susie's Signs! 🐾

Many of you know that Susie's Signs was named after our sweet girl, Susie. She was a beloved member of our family who never met a patch of grass she didn't want to explore. Being outside was one of her favorite things, so it only seemed fitting that we introduce her sitting among the grass she loved so much.

This special Shelf Sitter was truly a labor of love. Scott designed the layered pattern and carefully cut every piece by hand, while I brought her to life with paint and plenty of attention to detail. Together, we wanted to create something that captured the spirit of the dog who inspired our business from the very beginning.

Susie will be serving as our official model for many of our interchangeable Shelf Sitter hats and accessories, so you'll be seeing plenty of her in future photos and product announcements.

While no piece of wood could ever replace the real Susie, having her watching over our workshop and helping showcase our creations feels like the perfect way to honor her memory.
