So funny I spent the majority of my time with this painting just inches from my face, glasses on, obsessing over tiny stitches, zipper rivets, eyebrow hairs, all those little details.

Now it’ll spend most of its life being seen from across the room as one complete painting.

So here’s me forcing you to get unreasonably close. 🤣

I’ve been thinking a lot about the crew of Artemis II, cause obviously who isn’t these days?? 🤪 …and the perspective they have looking at earth from space.

This painting made up of microscopic brushstrokes is a small cross-section of life above the sea and below the surface, holding both the vast and the intimate at once.

A tiny speck in the universe, containing so much.

I love animals, I love Earth, I love space. Hope you enjoy this one ✌️🌎🛰️
