I received a call from a dealer who said our Ethernet cable outperformed one made by "Another" brand. This competitor's cable cost 5 times as much! He said we should raise our prices so people would realize ours was as good or better than the competition. I think we would rather be one of the best values in high-end audio!

If pure silver cables exceed your budget, silver extruded over copper is is a great second best. Due to the skin effect of conductors (see graphic above) you can get many of the benefits of a pure silver cable by extruding silver over copper. We use this is type of cable design in our speaker cables, interconnects, HDMI cables, digital cables, ethernet cables, and power cables.

Poor quality silver or silver that isn't polished properly can have adverse effects on the sound of your system. When I switched to our Revelation solid -silver cables from my Hi-Fi Rose DAC, my system sounded smother and more detailed. But it did not get "brighter".

The Z-Plug is a newer connection available for speakers with 5-way binding posts. It offers the convenience of a banana but greater surface area than a spade. This connection is very popular as they fit snugly and the outer area of the cylinder on a Z-Plug allows for greater contact than a spade typically provides. We offer our Z-Plugs in two varieties: gold or silver plated. Gold is great for preventing corrosion while silver offers better conductivity. We usually suggest silver for our speaker cables with silver, like the T-14 and Q-10. We suggest gold Z-Plugs for Odyssey and Prelude.

A great sounding interconnect needs a great connector! The connector we use (of our own design) maintains a 75-ohm impedance required for the best performance from a coaxial digital cable. This connector consists of 5 parts that locki the cable in place without changing the impedance. The best coax digital cable you can buy? We have had some customers say just that. It is certainly one of the best values in a coax cable. The D-750 starts at $230 for a half meter.

Emergency Cables VS White Lightning! I recently set up an inexpensive desktop system at my desk at work. I used the "emergency cables" that came with streamer before switching to our White Lightning. Even on this very small system the improvement was very apparent. Even on a desktop system, cables matter!
