Firestone Theatre

Firestone Theatre Theatre is far too important to be left in the hands of professionals. You don't know how good school theatre can be until you see Firestone Theatre.

Yesterday's exciting google meet was with New York-based actress Rebecca Watson. Our students learned a lot about the business of theatre including auditions, being an actor in LORT theatres, appearing on Broadway (including the recent production of "To Kill a Mockingbird"), and working in tv, films, and video games

You can learn more about Watson at her website.

Dazzle Awards

Two of ours appear in this moving video put together in recognition of the Dazzle Awards that would have taken place this evening.

There is nothing quite like the energy that fills Playhouse Square during the night of the Dazzle Awards presented by Pat and John Chapman. While we cannot celebrate in the way that we intended to this year, we could not let the opportunity for showcasing some of these amazing students pass by. We invited representatives from each 2019-20 Dazzle Awards school, selected by their directors, to shine in a virtual chorus of “Morning Glow” from the Stephen Schwartz musical PIPPIN. And shine they did! Their enthusiasm, passion, positivity and talent are inspiring. We know they, and the arts, will prevail.
