Lessons Taught By Life
Hello there Faithful Facebookians! It's time for a little bit of general updating. The Bird House studio finally has heat! [thank you to those who contribted and made this possible!]
As some of you have seen, Momma Kestril has been a busy bird getting all sorts of new things ready and testing out colours, styles, and all sorts of other things. Soon it will be time for event dates to be going up and finding out where you can find the flock!
If you can't wait until then to get your Kestril Clay fix, there are a few individual pieces for sale that are finished and can be shipped directly to your door! Check out Andrea Feagain's feed to find those. They will also soon be reposted here. Simply comment on it that you would like to purchase a piece and it will be marked sold [if you need an example of how this works, just look at the art deco green honeypot Miss Magpie laid claim to!]
Keep an eye out here for more updates, pictures and other fun things! We promise you won't be disappointed.
We are having some serious heating issues. It caused some freezing in some pots which resulted in bubbles and warps. We are working on the problem as fast as possible so please be patient with us.
A rather large ewer the glaze flowed so beautiful.

Oh look, a Raven is making a soup bowl!
Ooops. Someone left Miss Magpie to her own devices. Her things are much clumsier and heavy compared to the thrown things of Lady Kestril and Miss Raven. Maybe these will be decently acceptable AFTER some serious trimming and shaping. Oi.
Miss Raven throwing in the bird house!
Oops. Looks like ssomeone let a Raven loose in the studio. Oh well, the apprentice is making new things!
A rare sighting of the Mysterious Miss Crow.
Lady Kestril Hasn't been busy at alllllllll. Nope nope.
Fresh out of the kiln! More pictures to come
Another glaze day for the birds!
Link was sad to see our no Hyrule sign. We had to bribe him not to break things
