Bezpośrednio po studiach został zaangażowany do Teatru 13 Rzędów w Opolu, gdzie przygotował przestrzenie teatralne do „Siakuntali”, „Dziadów”, „Kordiana”, „Akropolis”, „Księcia Niezłomnego”.

The date has been decided, so start marking your calendars! We are still hopeful for an in-person event on December 4 at 7 PM at the Balch Street Theatre, but are allowing for the possibility of an online event.

Either way, the fundraiser will be community-engaged, featuring performances and a silent auction of incredible items highlighting the themes of our Uncover|Discover|Recover season. With various price levels of tickets, everyone is welcome!

Low tide.

08/07/2021

I’ve always been taken with the idea of inertia. Something will tend to keep doing what it has been doing, whether that is stillness or motion. Many definitions prioritize the idea of inactivity when discussing inertia, as in “a tendency to do nothing, or remain unchanged.” But I have always been more compelled by the idea that...

“a property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line unless that state is changed by an external force.”

The last 18 months, though, threw me off my wheel. It may have felt like lots of stillness and less activity and newness, but in the big picture, it changed everything. I could no longer do things in the old way. It stopped my inertia. It stopped me.

I have been hearing from a lot of artists and even teachers, “I’m so out of practice/out of the zone. I don’t know where to start.”

So I decided to create a gentle, loving, fertile ground zero, where we can, in community, plant some seeds, try new things, and begin again, perhaps in a new way.

It’s a one-week remote Summer Intensive meant to offer support and inspiration to as many different types of artists as possible.

Enjoy a streaming version of A Christmas Carol direct from Broadway through New World Theater Performance Laboratory's friend, Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO). Tickets are $50 per household. You can't buy one ticket to see a show on Broadway for that! A portion of proceeds helps ORMACO with its music, arts and cultural outreach programs. Please share with interested parties. Happy Holidays!
Latinos from Akron and around Cleveland, you can't miss this play Don Quijote, exquisitely directed and masterfully performed by the group headed by the excellent Jairo Cuestas. Congratulations!!!
Saw Don't You Weep last night and it was incredible. Make sure you see it. I plan to see it again ... at least once. Really powerful. My friend was devastated and I was energized and inspired. And I love how this company creates images that make me feel deeply and think profoundly ... and that we all have different responses to the experience. Debora Totti, you are an inspiration
