My photography is featured in the Winter issue of Haute Ohio Magazine.
I love working with designer, Jacci Hammer! This shoot happened the week before pandemic lockdown. I was on cloud nine for awhile afterwards. Each person was incredibly inspiring! Geesh!! Talk about these dear ones.
I love when I can be a part of the get ready part. Everyone had a skincare experience with me,and some makeup time as well.

I renewed my commitment to photography yesterday. Seriously, that's what it feels like when you get a Hasselblad.
Charlie sold this 503cx to me just before his retirement..he still has a few weeks left at Dodd Co. I worked there 2001-2007. He's one of my favorite people.
I was introduced to Hasselblad in the 90's,when I worked at Showcase in Atlanta. Ernst Wildi, the author of the Hasselblad manual did a special training with a few of us....gave us certificates and some swag. I still have it.
It's a real pleasure to print from zeiss negs.
It's the end of an era and the beginning of something really special.

On the surface, photograms are made by placing an object on light sensitive paper and exposing this configuration to light. Seems straight forward enough, but this technique has been used by artists and photo-lovers to create intriguing one of a kind images. In this hour long workshop, we will play....

Around Akron with Blue Green

A week ago, I met with Blue Green for an Around Akron with Blue Green interview at EarthaVision Gallery. Studio. Workshop. It was great fun! He is thoughtful and a class act of professionalism. I enjoyed answering his questions.
As I heard myself speak, I realized some of my own evolution. It was super interesting to have a perspective from somewhere different and it is a good place. I was also really happy to have a moment to talk about Ansel Sigmar and his mentorship back in my Atlanta days.
I am excited to see the finished edit sometime in the next few months!!
