Summit Artspace on East Market in Akron, Ohio, reopens with the video announcement of the winners of a new, in-person art show in its main gallery, July 10 through Aug. 8, 2020. Award-winning artist Amy Mothersbaugh guides us through the socially-distanced gallery to see the winning pieces in the "2020 Artists of Rubbery City Juried Regional Art Exhibition." Mothersbaugh, who curated and served as the juror, welcomes us all back to the gallery spaces and shares reflections from the impassioned and descriptive artist statements that accompany the works. Entry to the buildings is by free, timed tickets that you can register for here: https://bit.ly/3eOMnPo. Due to the current global health pandemic, here are the visitor guidelines: https://www.summitartspace.org/visitor-guidelines. Once you are in the building, there are additional gallery shows and artist studios to check out.
