I'm feeling a pretty huge dose of "Yeah, Things Aren't Perfect Around Here But At Least My Home Isn't Currently Being Bombed By A Megalomanical Buns-Hole" Guilt. That's why I will be donating 100% of today's Oddmall booth sale proceeds to charities benefiting the people of Ukraine.
If you are considering nabbing some Oddmall booths and you would rather have your money sent to help people suffering from a cruel invasion rather than helping me plop another case of champagne into my solid gold hot tub today is the day to do it.

I kind of soft introduced June 11th’s Oddmall: Riverside Ramble at Oddmall: Expedition Elsewhere (OFFICIAL) last Saturday and will make a formal announcement next week, but registration is currently open for Riverside Ramble and several other upcoming Oddmall shows at www.Oddmall.info. Don't forget about the "I LOVE YOU MOST OF ALL" thing that will be going on. Attending peeps will be given Valentines to give to their favorite vendor. Whoever has the most at the end of the show wins a FREE BOOTH for the upcoming Oddmall show of their choice.

Something very funky is on the horizon and your voice may be needed to make it as cool as possible. I'm helping to recruit people for a paid research study.
Here's what it entails:
There will be a 90 minute online focus group on Monday, February 28th. Participants will be paid $125 via PayPal.

Are you a roleplayer? Are you a fan of Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight series?
Well... Starting on Saturday 6/26/21 I'll be running RPG games at Oddmall (already have the blessing of Andy Hopp ) on Saturdays starting at 1PM (I'll try to get there around 12:30). The plan is to have two campaigns which alternate Saturdays.

I am looking for 3 to 4 (vaccinated) players (it's been over a month since my 2nd shot).
The second campaign: Is open to discussion.
My GM Style: I tend to use descriptive and immersive narratives involving more than just one sense. As an example: "Moonlight glitters from the hanging icicles. The quiet of your watch is disturbed by the soft crunching of snow beneath your feet. The cold wind seems to caress you with hateful freezing fingers which claws at your throat. When you go to adjust your winter clothing your attention is drawn to a stench emanating from a shadowy figure a dozen yards behind you. The shadowy one wasn't there a moment ago, there was no cracking frost that your ears detected from its movement across the frozen ground. Worse yet, though your warm breath clouds the cold air, the air about this sudden intruder carries no steam." - which is way better (in my opinion) than saying "It's nighttime in winter and you notice a shadowy figure suddenly appear behind you."
Encounter Style: I encourage out of the box thinking and normally have at least four possible ways for the players to deal with any given encounter or threat. If they don't think of a way to handle something (on their own) then I allow knowledge tactics/battles/command roles or smarts/intelligence/wisdom rolls (stat rolls at a small penalty) to feed them possible ideas to choose from. I still give them a choice so the decision is theirs. This has lead to things like a player throwing a powerful NPC off of a 70' tall wall and then throwing an armored guard off the wall onto the body of that NPC to finish him off. I do not railroad if players deviate from the planned campaign, but I will sometimes gently nudge.
