Oddmall vendors!

Most of the year's in-person shows have been canceled or postponed but that doesn't mean your options are. You may want to consider nabbing a vendor or artist booth at Con OFF the Cob - the online version of Con on the Cob. Vendor spots are only $15, which gives you your own channel on the Con OFF the Cob Discord server to sell your wares, interact with your shoppers, or (if you prefer) simply post some images and link to your existing online store or etsy page.

I encourage you to visit https://tabletop.events/conventions/con-off-the-cob-2020/pages/the-vendor-hall for more information.

Economy got you down? Ogres pillaging your treasure horde? Provisions low? Need to stock up on the geeksentials? No worries. The Mother of All Marketplaces at Con on the Cob has your back. Hello friends,

Post your art and awesomeness links here!

With the announcement I made this morning in mind (regarding the postponement of the remaining 2020 Oddmall shows) Oddmall vendors are encouraged to post links to their wares and online stores in the comments of this post.

Alternately, those who wish to support the Oddmall artists and vendors (and Oddmall itself) are invited to visit the Oddmall Outpost online store at www.oddmalloutpost.com.

Hello friends.

It with a great deal of sadness and anxiety that I must announce the cancellation of all three remaining 2020 Oddmall Ohio shows (and, in case you missed yesterday’s announcement, Con on the Cob). It’s just not safe or responsible to conduct such large gatherings at this time.

Anyone who has a booth already lined up for any of these shows will automatically have their booth transferred to the corresponding 2021 show. I should have dates for those shows posted very soon.

I wish this were any other way (and not just because my livelihood is dependent on it) but we have to live in the reality in which we live.

Please do not use the comments section as a place to debate politics or conspiracy theories.

Your support, love, and understanding is greatly appreciated. Bluer skies ahead and whatnot.

I love you all,
Andy

In the interest of public safety and in order to comply with state and local guidelines and regulations Oddmall: Riverside Ramble 2020, originally scheduled for June 13-14, 2020 has been postponed. We have not yet set a new date, but we will alert you here as soon as we do.

Any vendors who are already signed up for the original date will have a booth at the new date, as will any vendors who sign up between now and then (I've left registration open for those who want to take advantage of the currently ongoing discounts).

As of now, all other scheduled Oddmall shows, as well as Con on the Cob, will happen as scheduled. Booths for all shows are available at www.oddmall.info at a significant discount. Vendors who are signed up (or sign up now) for shows that are forced to postpone will automatically have a booth on the new date.

We are relatively confident Riverside Ramble will be able to happen this year. Of course, we will do everything in our power to ensure public safety and the safety of our vendors, entertainers, and visitors.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. Your health and safety are what are most important to us.

I love you all!

Hello everyone. Andy here. I was hoping to have more information from the city before making this announcement but I don’t think it can wait any longer:

Oddmall: Riverside Ramble, which is scheduled for June 13-14 in Canton, will be postponed until later in the year. I am working with the city to select a new date that will be safe and legal. We will be implementing several safety features when the show does happen in order to maintain public health.

Any vendors who are already signed up will automatically have a booth when the show does happen (hopefully that will be this year but it might have to be postponed until next year; I will let you know as soon as I know). Vendors also have the option to switch their booth to Oddmall: The Great Grassman Gathering, which takes place in September in Akron’s Kenmore neighborhood. Anyone who wants to take advantage of this option should please email me at [email protected] to confirm.

We all wish circumstances were different. Riverside Rambke is one of our favorites! Please stay safe, stay hopeful, and stay good to each other.

I love you all!

Who is there among us who wants to SAVE 10% on Con on the Cob badges and SUPER ULTRA MEGA DEALS?

If that describes you, go to https://tabletop.events/conventions/con-on-the-cob-2020 and enter the code CoronaVirusSucks to nab just such a bargain.

Tabletop.events (the awesome company who handles our badge, event, game, and vendor processing) is really hurting right now because of all the cons who have had to cancel due to the current world situation, and they are depending on their percentage of our badge sales to keep them in business. Please consider nabbing your CotC badge as soon as possible.

*EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!! Make sure to tell them you are with Con on the Cob to get the best rate. I can not stress this enough. It is so extremely important the planet may actually implode if you do not follow this direction (actually, it will just cost us a lot more to rent the venue and that...

Where My Peeps At?

Hello there. It's me, Andy.

Times are tough and the world is a scary place right now. That's why I thought you might appreciate a bit of whimsical escapism in the form of the Where My Peeps At? series of collectible pins and stickers. These guys represent the playable character species in my Low Life roleplaying game and are also the subjects of a really fun scavenger hunt played at Oddmall and Con on the Cob. I think you'll dig them.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to peruse and I wish you well whether you back this project or not. Stay safe and be good to each other.

Hello friends,

Hi, it's me, your friend Andy from Oddmall, Con on the Cob, Mutha Oith Creations, Oddmall Outpost, and that one dream you had where I was wearing a vest and rolling a big donut down a hill. You don't need me to tell you how strange, scary, and unpredictable the world has become lately (including an unprecedented upswing in the usage of the word "unprecedented"). I'm no expert on infectious disease, nor am I a professional superhero (amateur, at best) or emergency response technician. What I am, however, is the guy who can update you on how the various events I help to host and the businesses I run are being affected by current events and what we are doing in response. Let's discuss each entity in turn. Without any further ado, let's continue with my trademark brevity:

ODDMALL

Of the six Ohio Oddmall shows currently on the roster we are currently only rescheduling one of them. In accordance with guidelines and suggestions laid down by the CDC and the state of Ohio prohibiting gatherings of more than 50 people for the next eight weeks, ODDMALL: EMPORIUM OF THE WEIRD has been rescheduled from May 2-3, 2020 to April 30 and May 1, 2021. The following adjustments are being enacted:

All vendors who are currently signed up will have their booth space transferred to the new date automatically.
Vendors who would prefer to switch their booth from Emporium of the Weird to any other Oddmall Ohio show may do so on a booth for booth basis as quantities allow. Please contact Greg (Greg @ muthaoithcreations.com) to discuss changes.

In an effort to ease the financial burdens the situation has inflicted upon many of us, we will be offering $20-$210 off of standard (6x8 and 10x10) booths and double booths for all currently listed Ohio Oddmall shows through the month of March. Don't worry, it's much less complicated than it seems, the form has everything already adjusted). Please visit https://www.oddmall.info/vendor-registration/ for more details.

CON on the COB

Con on the Cob isn't until October and I'm fairly certain this will all be over long before then. We have no plans to change anything about Con on the Cob 2020 other than a renewed resolve to make sure it is the most fun thing in the history of fun (and things)! However, many other fantastic conventions have had to cancel their events and this just makes me heartbroken. I know from firsthand experience how much love and energy goes into making a con happen and to have that taken away at the last minute by an invisible monster is a terrible, terrible thing. Yes, we had to reschedule May's Oddmall show, but that's not quite the same thing. Our friends at Cleveland ConCoction, Roundtable Con, Gary Con, and too many more to mention have had to cancel their awesome events. What's more, all of the people who were looking forward to attending these cons are now missing out.

I know it does little to appease the urgent needs of the populace, but please accept this humble discount code to use toward your badge at Con on the Cob. I hope it at least helps some people who were planning to attend a cancelled con get a little but of fun (A LOT OF FUN, actually) this October. Are you ready for it? Good. Use the code CoronaVirusSucks to receive 25% off your Con on the Cob Four Day Badge or Super Ultra Mega Deal at https://tabletop.events/conventions/con-on-the-cob-2020. It's good through March 31.

ODDMALL OUTPOST

Oddmall Outpost's physical location will be closed for at least the next two weeks. Our online store remains open and we are eager to sell you stuff (www.oddmalloutpost.com)! Oddmall Outpost features over 6000 items crafted by some of the area's most talented artists and artisans. Check it out!

While the store is closed we will be hard at work on some cool improvements, including updating some of the online listings that lack photos, spiffing up the place, feeding the pets, and working on some upcoming projects. Don't worry about us. We'll keep busy.

MUTHA OITH CREATIONS (LOW LIFE)

I plan to spend most of the next couple of weeks finishing up After the Wipe: A Low life Coloring Book so we can get that sent out to the Kickstarter backers and get working on the next project.

If you're looking for something to read or play, I've set all of the Low Life books to have free shipping if you order them from Oddmall Outpost. Here's a link: https://www.oddmalloutpost.com/product/low-life-the-rise-of-the-lowly-redredged/

03/13/2020

Hello friends,

Just a heads up, here. Currently, there are no plans to cancel Oddmall's May 2-3 show at the Knight Center in Akron. The show is still six weeks out and we think it's prudent to see how the next few weeks go before we make that decision.

If the show does end up being canceled vendors will have the option of transferring their booths to any other upcoming Oddmall show (space permitting) or carrying it over to next year's May show.

As everyone else is, we are closely monitoring the situation and will follow whatever directives are put forth by the authorities. Stay safe, everyone!

We will keep you updated and informed.

In the meantime, we are extending the half price booth offer through March. It is valid for any Ohio Oddmall show (with the exception of Hallowondrous).

Cool! I Wanna go!!
Soo I know it's been a while (4 yrs) and this is a shot into a very dark room but... I'm from Akron, OH and am looking for a vendor who was drawing her own tarot deck. I lost the business card I had for her but want to contact her so badly! She was younger (20s-30s) and it was her first deck. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate any help! Thanks so much!
Hello everyone I was at the con on the Cobb I do believe it was in canton last year and there was a tong lady who painted this I would like to get in contact with her to See if she has done more
Andy, Thanks for allowing me to post this announcement. Fellow readers and lovers of all things odd and weird, A Life of Death was selected to potentially be optioned for TV or a movie. If you would like to see Alex, Paige and Jamie on the big screen, vote for it today. Contest ends in 48 hours, so please help. I don't know about you, but I'd love to see Alex's ghostly tale on the big screen. Vote today!

Hello there Andy it's Jake from Arts in Stark. Your stuff is ready for pickup. Remember after 30 days I can sell you a faint blow up Stay Puff man.

I saw information about an Oddmall Hallowondrous event in Toledo, Ohio for this coming weekend (10/12 - 13) but now I can't find anything about it. Was it cancelled? I'm so sad!
I hope that I can get some help. I was at Oddmall Hallowondrous 2017 (I think?) and purchased a small polyclay Rock Pikmin statue, with a stake intended to put it in a flower pot. Mine was unfortunately stolen when I had a plant out on my patio, and I'm really hoping to purchase another. The vendor was not present at Hallowondrous 2018, to my knowledge. Does anybody know who the vendor was?
If this isn't allowed please delete. Something has come up and I have over extended myself and can't attend Oddmall Emporium this weekend in Akron. If someone is interested in a 3x8 table please message me. Thanks!
Looking for anyone interested in sharing a booth. I'm a writer with a book to promote and sell.
best place for unique stuff, a must see!!!
