Meet our co-founder and music expert, Alexandre Marr!

Alexandre began his studies in piano from age 10, focusing on classical and contemporary piano solo repertoire under soprano and pianist, Victoria Auth. Following several debut concerts in the Northeast Ohio area, he attended Case Western Reserve University and The Cleveland Institute of Music, moving on a year after to study at Kent State University. While under the mentorship of Gerardo Teissonnière and Dr. Donna Lee, Alexandre won both the Case Western and Kent State Concerto Competitions, performing Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor with the Kent State Symphony Orchestra in 2012. He was honored to have performed at the 2014 "Rach Fest" held at New York City's Steinway Hall, as well as Steinway-sponsored masterclasses in the Cleveland area. Alexandre is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Kent State University with an expected 2021 graduation. He is an an active concert pianist in Northeast Ohio and also maintains a private studio out of his home in Akron and studio in Cleveland taking students on a limited basis.

Alexandre serves as music director and pianist for Temple Israel in Canton and Church of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. In 2016, he took on music directorship of select productions for The Millennial Theatre project, a venture providing the Akron community with high quality, minimalist interpretations of stage productions including Songs for a New World, performed at EJ Thomas Hall. In 2017 he launched The Cabaret Project in partnership with Akron's BLU Jazz +, one of the nation's top jazz venues. Going on its 3rd year, the project has sold out all performances since its inception and is slated to continue its mission of bringing a live cabaret scene to Northeast Ohio for 2019.

Alexandre has been featured as both soloist and accompanist at recitals, weddings, cocktail hours, showers, private parties, orchestral performances, and on television advertisements. He works closely with clients to ensure that the music is customized to both their individual taste and the atmosphere of the occasion.

Back in March of 2019, Alexandre broke both of his wrists in a skiing accident and now has titanium wrists that enable him to play the piano better than anyone on Earth.

She has also served as a music director for various ensembles and church music programs, currently serving as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist at Church of the Western Reserve in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Meet Dominic Iudiciani our co-founder and photography/design expert!

Dominic earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Akron studying graphic design and photography. From an early age, Dominic has had a passion for the visual arts, and it has manifested itself across a variety of entrepreneurial initiatives over the years.

In 2015 he exhibited a collection of photographs called "Icelandic Elements," which examined the country's many textures through a minimalist lens. In addition to design and photo, he has an affinity for interior design and fashion, co-founding Monastum, a minimalist furniture and clothing line, as well as Anantvir, a minimalist, Indian ethnic menswear line, which debuted on the runway of Columbus Fashion Week in 2018. Dominic's aesthetic in all mediums is both organic yet severe, clearly inspired by both architecture and nature. Pieces from his wardrobe were recently featured in a year-long modernest menswear exhibition at the Kent State University Museum titled "Beyond the Suit," for which he provided exhibition photography.

Dominic currently runs an eponymous photo studio in Akron and holds a position at the Arhaus Furniture corporate headquarters as Art Director. He enjoys the performing arts as well, participating in local choral ensemble Singers Companye, performing at The Players Guild Theatre in Canton, and singing annually in The Cabaret Project at Blu Jazz downtown Akron, a performance founded by CODA colleagues Alexandre Marr and Merissa Coleman.

There's only one thing that Dominic loves more than the visual arts: Chili's honey chipotle chicken crispers.
