Breaking: Broadway Shutdown Extends Through May 2021

We must all stay safe until we can convene again on stage and in the audience.

NBC New York reports that The Broadway League will announce tomorrow another extension of the Broadway shutdown in New York City. It is expected that The League will announce a suspension of performances through May 30, 2021, marking another delay before shows will return.

Thanks you #GARFoundation for this much needed grant which will allow us to complete Along the Graveyard Path, matching our #KnightFoundationAkronArtsChallenge project. Theatre on the Spectrum is the performing wing of The Center for Applied Drama and Autism, a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization.

GAR Foundation awarded $928,000 in grants to Akron nonprofit organizations this month. This round of funding included matching grants for 10 Knight Arts Challenge projects. Join us in congratulating these nonprofits and projects!

First Production of Curious Incident Starring an Actor With Autism Begins September 19. Indiana Repertory Theatre. This regional incarnation of the play is a co-production between Indiana Rep, where it will play through October 15, and Syracuse Stage, with a run scheduled for October 25–November 12. We might make a road trip!!
